Activities during the Easter holidays
From April 19 to May 4, 2025, the museum will host daily activities for children and adults, except on Tuesdays when it is closed.
Join us for a fun-filled Easter celebration! We’ll have an exciting egg hunt in the museum courtyard, a quest through the museum’s halls, guided tours, and plenty of activities for the kids on Wednesday. There’s so much to do, you definitely won’t have a dull moment this holiday!
Every day except Tuesday, visitors can enhance their museum experience by participating in an egg hunt inside the museum's halls. The staff have hidden printed eggs in the showcases for you to find. Decipher the code on the eggs to win a prize! Everyone is welcome to join, and young explorers are encouraged to help their parents search for the eggs.
Wednesdays at the museum
On Wednesday, April 30th, children can celebrate spring by participating in two one-hour workshops. - At 10:30 a.m.: **Garden Planting** - Children aged 3 to 6 will have the opportunity to grow their own plants and decorate their pots. - At 2:30 p.m.: **Flower Crowns** - Children aged 7 to 10 will create their own crowns using paper flowers.
Booking is required for these activities, and each workshop is limited to 10 children. The cost for one workshop is €3.50 per child, while accompanying adults can attend free of charge.
Every day at 3:30 p.m. (except Thursdays) during the holidays, our staff will guide you through the Celtic collection of the museum. This is an incredible opportunity to discover the Vix Treasure and its mysteries, as well as the new findings from the 2019 tomb excavations.
Guided tours are included with the admission fee (no booking required), but please note that they are only available in French. If you would like a tour in English, feel free to ask our staff for assistance.
