As part of the Vignobles et Découvertes label and the Fascinant Week-End, the museum has teamed up with four approved local producers to offer you an evening out of the ordinary. What's more, the Cave aux Arômes is coming to the museum to offer you a real initiation into Burgundy wines.

The temporary exhibition "Archéocapsules: Archaeology of sexes" is extended until December 30th. For English speakers, a translation of the exhibition is available in the room.

From 20 to 22 September 2024, take part in the European Heritage Days at the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais- Trésor de Vix! On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, enjoy free admission to the museum to (re)discover the various collections and exhibitions. On Friday 20 September at 7 pm, Jacques Lacroix will give a free talk (in French) on the Vix torque and its symbolism. The weekend will also be an opportunity to meet the artist Emmanuel Michel, who will be presenting his works from the ‘Voyage’ exhibition, and to watch a screening of the film "Tambapanni" (in French) about this artist.
Aux sabres citoyens !
"Aux sabres, citoyens!" is an exhibition of weapons, mainly extraordinary sabres and pistols, from the first half of the 19th century (French Revolution / Empire / Restoration of the Monarchy), produced by the Musée du Pays Châtillonnais - Trésor de Vix.
