Michel Couqueberg : Un regard passionné sur la nature
Born in Dijon in 1946, Michel Couqueberg has devoted more than forty years to animal sculpture. After a career in technical education, he chose to dedicate himself entirely to his artistic passion. Working from his studio in Orgeux, he has created a distinctive body of work that captures the strength, grace and spirit of the animal world.

A Unique Technique
Rather than pursuing strict realism, Michel Couqueberg seeks to capture the essence of each animal. Clean lines, balanced forms and elegant silhouettes convey movement, energy and character, inviting visitors to experience as much as to observe.
Bronze is Michel Couqueberg's preferred medium. He enhances it with his own original technique, KOOKYKROM, a process combining graduated silvering and colour to create luminous reflections and give every sculpture a distinctive visual identity.
